These Terms & Conditions apply to careers.ecinc.us and the ECI text messaging programs described below, operated by Electrical Contractor Incorporated (ECI). Use the website for legitimate employment, referral, and company communication purposes. Provide accurate information, protect any account credentials, and do not misuse the website or submit information you are not authorized to share. Merely visiting this website does not enroll you in SMS.

Applications and referrals

Submitting an application or receiving a message does not guarantee an interview or employment. A job listing or these terms do not create an employment contract. Any referral incentive is governed by the applicable ECI referral program terms communicated separately. Sharing an application link with a potential candidate is encouraged; submitting another person’s telephone number does not enroll that person in SMS.

SMS Terms — program description

ECI offers text communications for current employees and candidates. Depending on the program you select, messages may include employee announcements, job openings, employee-referral requests and related updates, application status, interview arrangements, and hiring follow-ups. Employee and candidate messaging permissions are separate and messages are limited to the subjects you agreed to receive. Messages may be sent using automated technology.

SMS Terms — enrollment and consent

Participation is optional. ECI obtains your agreement before enrolling you in an SMS program. Where permitted for informational messages, consent may be given verbally during hiring after the text messaging purpose is explained. Electronic or written enrollment may also be used. Any message category requiring written consent requires that consent before sending.

Providing a phone number for personnel records, remaining silent after a notice, or accepting these website terms does not by itself establish SMS consent. You may decline enrollment during hiring or withdraw consent later. Consent to this optional SMS program is not a condition of applying for a job, employment, or purchasing anything. Contact ECI to arrange another communication method. Only enroll a telephone number you are authorized to use.

SMS Terms — frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on hiring activity, employee announcements, and your interactions with ECI. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile provider’s plan determines any charges.

SMS Terms — stopping messages

Reply STOP to any program text to unsubscribe. We may send one final confirmation of your opt-out; further program messages will stop unless you provide fresh consent. You can also ask ECI to remove you by calling (770) 788-8082 or emailing admin@ecinc.us. If you receive messages from more than one ECI program, contact us to request removal from all optional ECI text programs. Declining at hiring means you will not be enrolled. Opting out does not cancel your application or employment relationship.

SMS Terms — help and number changes

Reply HELP for assistance, call (770) 788-8082, or email admin@ecinc.us. Tell ECI if your telephone number changes or is no longer under your control so we can update our records. Text messages are not an emergency communication service.

SMS Terms — delivery

Delivery depends on wireless networks and other conditions and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. For time-sensitive employment questions, contact ECI directly.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled, including SMS enrollment and opt-out records. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Changes to these terms

ECI may update these terms and post a revised date. Changes do not expand your SMS consent automatically. ECI will obtain additional consent when required before changing the subjects of messages sent to you.
